“The IMA Hall of Fame Inductions are held to celebrate and recognize the positive achievements made by Indiana manufacturing companies, and to honor their contributions in furthering manufacturing in Indiana,” said IMA President and CEO Brian Burton. “Additionally, these inductions serve to bring attention to our industry and make the public aware of manufacturing’s enormous impact on the Hoosier economy.” Burton continued, “We congratulate ARaymond for their outstanding work and continued dedication in making Indiana a manufacturing powerhouse.”
ARaymond draws from over 155 years of expertise to create sustainable value-added fastening and assembly systems. Their expertise encompasses design, development, prototyping, and manufacturing. ARaymond’s Logansport, Indiana facility began in December of 1946, when three men developed a plan to manufacture and sell metal stampings using multi-slide bending equipment.
Today, the ARaymond Manufacturing Center in Logansport is focused on stamping, bending, assembly, and surface treatment of metal products for the mobility, energy, and construction markets. Throughout 2023-2024, the facility will once again be evolving with new state-of-the-art finishing processes that will better serve our customers’ needs today and into the future.
Larry Barker, Plant Manager at ARaymond Logansport explained: “We at the ARaymond Logansport facility are highly honored to be recognized by the Indiana Manufacturers Association through our induction to their Hall of Fame. Creating positive impact in both the Logansport community and in our ARaymond community are the driving force of our strategy and operations.
We look forward to our continued interaction and growth with them moving forward.”
Indiana manufacturing continues to be one of the highest-paying industry sectors in the state, accounting for nearly 30% of the state’s total output and employing approximately 20% of the workforce.
