AT&T is expanding its selection of Samsung devices with the addition of the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and Gear S2 classic, and adding a bonus for DIRECTV subscribers.

The latest devices from Samsung deliver a high quality camera, refined design, water resistance, enhanced performance, and connectivity to a wide range of experiences. All 3 devices are now available for pre-order at www.att.com and in AT&T retail stores. The Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and Gear S2 classic will be available in stores starting on Mar. 11.

DIRECTV Integration
The Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, and Gear S2 classic are the first devices from AT&T to offer a new, more integrated DIRECTV experience. As a DIRECTV subscriber, you can watch live TV and your favorite movies with the DIRECTV app on your smartphone. With new features like Quick Remote, your phone and smartwatch act as a remote control when you’re watching TV at home. You can pause, rewind, and fast forward a show or movie with just a tap of your finger. Using the DIRECTV app is even easier with Samsung’s S-Voice which lets you launch the service by speaking into your Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, or Gear S2 classic.

“The DIRECTV integration on the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge and Gear S2 classic is the latest example of how AT&T is making your video experience even better. Our customers are getting a unique mobile video experience in the palm of their hand and on their wrist that they can’t find anywhere else,”said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility

Pricing

Pricing for the 32GB version of Galaxy S7 starts at $23.17 per month for well qualified customers on AT&T Next 24, while the Galaxy S7 edge with 32GB starts at $26.50 per month for well qualified customers on AT&T Next 24. Both phones will be available in Black Onyx and Gold Platinum. The Galaxy S7 edge will also be available in Silver Titanium.

The Gear S2 classic is available for $17.50 on an AT&T Installment Plan, and is available with a black leather wristband and stainless steel watch face.

Features

The Gear S2 classic comes with NumberSyncSM out of the box. NumberSync lets you send and receive texts, as well as make and receive calls, from your smartwatch using the same mobile number as your smartphone. With NumberSync your friends, family and colleagues only need to know your mobile phone number.

The Galaxy S7 has a 5.1 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display encased in a premium metal and glass body. The Galaxy S7 edge’s screen measures 5.5 inches with the curved display expanding on to the left and right edges of the phone. The larger edge panel on Galaxy S7 edge gives you more space for apps. The new Task Edge screen offers one-tap access to applications, functions, and news. Both devices are dust and water resistant, so they can withstand some of the mishaps that comes with your busy schedule.

Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge feature a 12 megapixel dual-pixel rear-facing camera. The first camera of its kind on a Samsung smartphone, this makes it easy to capture pictures and video when you’re somewhere with low lighting.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 3000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S7 edge comes with a 3600 mAh battery to help power you through the day.
Both versions of the Galaxy S7 come with embedded wireless charging technology compatible with virtually all wireless charging pads (charging pads sold separately). Additionally, both versions of the Galaxy S7 include 32GB of internal storage and lets users insert a microSD card for up to 200GB of additional storage.
