Beauty is only skin deep. But when it comes to vehicles, there’s something special about a vehicle that doesn’t look like everything else on the road and pushes boundaries.
Such is the case with the 2016 Lexus RX350, which features a daring design that goes against the typical look you see in today’s cookie-cutter vehicles. The moment I saw it for the first time, I was impressed.
But how would it drive? I’m back with a full recap after a week in the RX350.
Lately, it’s all about going smaller, at least in the world of SUVs and crossovers.
As a result, there’s a rush for any automaker without an entry in the compact crossover segment to get into the mix, and this is true on the luxury side of things too.

Hybrids are everywhere, and the Toyota/Lexus contingent is perhaps the most versatile in this area, with many styles offered -- from the Prius all the way up to Lexus’ fancier hybrid options.
One of those Lexus hybrid options is the 2015 Lexus CT200h, a small, sporty hybrid that offers a bit more pizzazz than your standard hybrid.

Lexus is rumbling into Detroit with an exhibit at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) that shows its sporty disposition.
The luxury vehicle manufacturer will showcase the new, much-anticipated GS F performance sedan, which joins the brand’s expanded lineup of models on display at Detroit’s Cobo Center. Visitors will see how Lexus is extending into greater integration of innovative technology, emotional exterior designs and engaging driving dynamics and performance into every model.
