Audi and AT&T have announced that 2016 model year Audi vehicles will offer AT&T 4G LTE or 3G coverage. AT&T and Audi enabled the first-ever in-vehicle 4G LTE data connection in North America in 2014.

“Our relationship with Audi has allowed us to improve the in-car experience, beginning with the A3 last year, the first 4G LTE connected car in the U.S.,” said Chris Penrose, senior vice president, Internet of Things, AT&T Mobility. “We’re thrilled to work with Audi to connect all 2016 models. Now all Audi drivers will enjoy navigation, streaming and high-speed access to the Internet.”

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. has announced specifications and pricing for the 2016 i-MiEV—a 100 percent electric-powered vehicle—which will arrive at Mitsubishi dealers across the United States in late March 2015.

With a starting MSRP of $22,995, the technologically advanced i-MiEV is the most affordably-priced electric vehicle available in America today, and after factoring in the Federal tax credit of $7,500, the net starting MSRP is reduced to $15,495.

AT&T’s connected car platform now has the ability to connect to the company’s home security and automation service.

It makes AT&T Digital Life the first and only home management system currently integrated with AT&T Drive. This will enable automakers to integrate home security and automation service and pass the benefit on to their customers, so they can manage their home from the Digital Life app through the dashboard control panel and voice recognition of their car.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. reported sales of 25,710 units delivered in February 2015.

The all-new Golf continued to find success in the market as the family increased in size. In February, Golf family sales totaled 3,921 units. This marks the best February for the Golf family in 15 years. The much anticipated Golf R hit showrooms mid-month. The Golf Sportwagen will go on sale later this spring.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend for its first stop on a three-race west coast swing – Sunday’s Kobalt 400 (3:30 p.m. ET on FOX). Following Las Vegas, the series moves on to Phoenix and concludes its Pacific trip at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California before heading back east to Martinsville. Phoenix was formerly the second race on the docket, but is now the fourth. Auto Club still occupies its traditional fifth race slot.

Does the weather dictate how active you are?

Kevin Harvick heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Kobalt 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race looking for a reason to celebrate in Las Vegas on a Sunday.

Harvick has had many reasons to celebrate in Las Vegas over the years, including his most recent trip in early December 2014 when he was honored as the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion during Champions Week in Las Vegas. The week culminated with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards banquet on Friday night, Dec. 5, at the Wynn Las Vegas.

With anything in life, you’ve got to have an angle.

That definitely applies in the auto industry, as you have to show up with a definite plan to compete in any segment, especially one as busy as the crossover SUV segment.

For Dodge, whose Durango competes in this class, there’s a definite plan of attack, and it involves power -- powerful looks, powerful engines and powerful towing capabilities.

I recently spent some time in a Durango and I’m back with a full report on what the vehicle has to offer.

Germany’s national soccer team won the World Cup title last year in a brutally efficient manner. They were unassuming, just operated like clockwork and ran down and decimated their opposition -- including host Brazil in embarrassing fashion.

The Volkswagen lineup of cars is a lot like their home country’s soccer team -- not flashy in appearance or style, but great when it comes to delivering what you want under the hood and in your driving experience.

I recently drove one of VW’s most popular products on this side of the pond, a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, and I’m back with a full report..

Things were looking good for Chevy and Toyota heading into the weekend.
Matt Kenseth won the Shootout in his Toyota, and Hendrick teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson won the Twin 150s. The Gibbs cars and the Hendrick cars seemed like the best bet to win the biggest race of the year.

No one even mentioned the Fords.

And then a sweep happened for the Blue Oval.
