Michigan International Speedway is partnering with Henry Ford Health System to bring kids even closer to the drivers and all the action leading up to the start of the race with a FREE Pit and Driver Introduction Pass. Fans will also have the opportunity to utilize the new state-of-the-art Henry Ford Health System Infield Care Center.

With the new free Pit and Driver Introduction Pass, any guest who purchases a kids 12 and under ticket to the FireKeepers Casino 400 on June 9 or the Consumers Energy 400 on Aug. 11 will automatically receive a Pit and Driver Introduction Pass added to their order courtesy of our branding sponsor Henry Ford Health System.

Henry Ford Health System will also be providing urgent care in the new infield care center. The care center, located in turn 4, will be open 24 hours a day on race weekend. Any fan can use the care center for a medical condition during their stay at the track on race week.

Michigan International Speedway continues to showcase the benefits of partnering with local companies to enhance the experience for the guests.

What comes with a Pit and Driver Introduction Pass? Fans can experience pit road up close, sign the start/finish line, take their photo with the trophy on race morning, view the cars and race teams up close during pre-race preparations and have access to pre-race ceremonies, including driver introductions on Sunday. A Pit and Driver Introduction Pass is the best opportunity to try to get a favorite driver’s autograph!

The 3,854 square foot Henry Ford Health System Infield Care Center will be open 24 hours a day during both race weekends for any guest who needs medical attention. It will house 10 beds and a waiting room for the patient’s friends or families. In addition, there will be a covered ambulance bay and new helipad.

Michigan International Speedway will continue to be a premier racing facility in 2019 when it hosts a pair of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races. NASCAR’s Most Entertaining Track will host the Monster Energy Series on June 9 and Aug. 11. 

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series FireKeepers Casino 400 is on June 9. The series will return on Aug. 11 for the Consumers Energy 400.

The XFINITY Series LTi Printing 250 is June 8 while the Gander Outdoors Truck Series Corrigan Oil 200 is scheduled for Aug. 10.
