“We are proud to partner with Michigan International Speedway. Not only is MIS considered one of the premier racing facilities in the United States, it is a positive presence in our community,” said Georgia Fojtasek, President and CEO, Henry Ford Allegiance Health. “We appreciate the family-friendly opportunities MIS offers. Our sponsorship of Kids Pit Passes will give young race fans an up-close experience with the cars and the drivers. Henry Ford Health System’s on-site presence at MIS, along with our nearby Level II Trauma Center, assures drivers, race fans and families that excellent care is readily available to everyone.”
Michigan International Speedway continues to showcase the benefits of partnering with local companies to enhance the experience for the guests.
“We are excited to partner with Henry Ford Health System to provide our young guests with experiences of a lifetime with Pit and Driver Introduction Passes,” MIS President Rick Brenner said. “Accessibility of the NASCAR drivers to the fans is unmatched to any other sport and now children will get even closer to their favorite driver and stand right on the track on Sunday morning.”
What comes with a Pit and Driver Introduction Pass? Fans can experience pit road up close, sign the start/finish line, take their photo with the trophy on race morning, view the cars and race teams up close during pre-race preparations and have access to pre-race ceremonies, including driver introductions on Sunday. A Pit and Driver Introduction Pass is the best opportunity to try to get a favorite driver’s autograph!
The 3,854 square foot Henry Ford Health System Infield Care Center will be open 24 hours a day during both race weekends for any guest who needs medical attention. It will house 10 beds and a waiting room for the patient’s friends or families. In addition, there will be a covered ambulance bay and new helipad.
